StopPATH WV

Note what Nitowski said - PATH only wants a delay because PJM's load forecasting (jargon that no one really understands) requires a new in-service date (more jargon). In fact, what has happened is that PJM has, for the third year in a row, revised its peak load predictions downward, which completely contradicts the reasons they claim PATH is needed. But Nitowski didn't say it that way, so people can understand.

Note that Nitowski never mentioned the Pruntytown-Mt. Storm line, which his boss, Allegheny, soon to be FirstEnergy, owns. He never even addressed the fact that the only reason that AEP/Allegheny want another delay is that they think it will divert the public's attention from the fact that there are now two better alternatives on the table and that PATH is no longer a viable project.

I almost feel sorry for these talking heads sometimes... they get such crap to work with, they can't help sounding like idiots.

PATH's desperation is showing! The press release that didn't mention the WV staff's motion to dismiss -- trying to pretend this all cued off some announcement by PJM. What cereal box did they pull that prize out of? LOL Nice attempt at slick, but it fell flat. The media is getting smarter and smarter about PATH by the moment. PATH keeps getting dumber and dumber in their desperation. Never lie to reporters! PATH keeps forgetting that and their enemies keep multiplying. There are some things (OUR) money can't buy! It only takes one lie to ruin your credibility FOREVER.
