Read what Jefferson County delegates are saying about HCR 58 in The Journal. CommentsPam 02/18/2011 11:05am
Some imbacile called into Journal Junction about Ms. Lawrence and Mr. Doyle sponsoring a NIMBY resolution, that we have to have PATH for our national security. Guess there are still people out there living under rocks or maybe on PATH's payroll.

The Journal Junction is open to all comments. Even those from sock puppets.

What this obviously uninformed caller fails to realize is there is a clear alternative to PATH (Dominion's Alternative One) that addresses any "so-called" "need" issues that PATH or PJM may be claiming. Not only does the caller put this squarely on Delegates Doyle and Lawrence but there are a whole host of other West virginia Delegates and Senators that have signed on in agreement to exploring all alternatives before pi$$ing away 2.1 billion on a project that merely gains huge corporate profit and shafts the citizens on West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia, not to mention 10 other states and the District of Columbia. The fact about Dominion's Alternative One are clear and simple ... NO new right of way or land taken, increased efficiency (new technology vs. same old crap just more of it), and all at a THIRD OF THE COST TO RATEPAYERS!

Well, it looks like "Charles Town" got an education in today's Journal Junction.

I can only hope that the few uninformed of this county now begin to take a look at the real picture and get the facts. Once someone is truly educated about this farce of a project the answers are plain to see. Great job to all of those who made contributions!
